Kaub comes up five centimeters on the Rhine

Kaub on the Middle Rhine came up five centimeters overnight, from zero to five. The river is still at low water, and the chance of a Rhine sailing day going as planned this week is 1 percent. It eases further out, with 45 percent for November and 63 percent for December. The Danube held flat at Pfelling, 213 centimeters, and at these levels lines usually load the ship lighter or run a coach between two ships across the shallow stretch.
