Kaub comes up 4 cm but Rhine stays at low water
Kaub read 21 centimeters this morning, four centimeters above yesterday, though the Middle Rhine is still sitting at low water and this week shows a 1 percent chance of sailing as planned. December looks much easier, at 63 percent. Low water rarely stops a Rhine river cruise outright, and lines handle it by loading lighter, swapping to a sister ship past the shallow stretch with a coach between, or reshuffling a day ashore. On the Danube, Pfelling slipped a centimeter to 223.
