Danube flow up at Pfelling, still at low water

The Danube came up yesterday, with flow at Pfelling rising from 162 to 192 cubic meters a second, and around 11 millimeters of rain is due in the Inn valley over the next week. The Straubing to Vilshofen stretch is still below the level where ships start having difficulty, so expect lighter loading, a ship swap with a coach across the shallow part, or a reshuffled day. This week sits at a 5 percent chance of sailing as planned there. October reads 25 percent, and December 42 percent. The Rhine at Lobith also rose, from 677 to 710, though it remains at low water.
