Rhine keeps falling at Lobith in September

The Danube came up 2 centimeters at Pfelling, and this week's chance of a sailing day going as planned edged up to 10 percent. The Rhine went the other way, with flow at Lobith down from 728 to 696 and 1 percent of this week's sailing days going as planned. Low water usually means the ship loads lighter, or you switch to a sister vessel past the shallow stretch with a coach in between. October sits at 23 percent as planned for the Rhine, December at 63.
