Danube at Pfelling drops 5 cm, now 215
Rain is coming to Bavaria, with about 30 millimeters forecast for the Inn valley and the Bavarian Danube over the next seven days, a little above normal for early September. It has not arrived yet. Pfelling fell 5 centimeters overnight to 215, and this week the Danube carries a 4 percent chance of sailing as planned, up from 1 percent yesterday. On the Rhine, Maxau slipped 7 centimeters to 318, and water levels there sit at 1 percent as planned this week and 23 percent across September as a whole.
