Danube holds at 249 centimeters at Pfelling

The Elbe at Dresden came up four centimeters to 65, still clear of the level where ships start having trouble. The Rhine and Danube are both at low water this November: Maxau gained a centimeter to 312, Pfelling held flat at 249, and the chance of a sailing day going as planned this week is 1 percent on each. On those two rivers that usually means less weight aboard, or a coach around the shallow stretch to a sister ship. December reads better for Rhine water levels, at 40 percent as planned.
