Rhine at Lobith rises back above low water
Rhine water levels at Lobith came up overnight, from 1,011 to 1,163 cubic meters a second. That puts the river back above the level where ships start having difficulty, and the rest of this week now reads an 85 percent chance of sailing as planned. The Danube at Budapest rose a little too, but it is still at low water, with this week at 1 percent as planned. On that river it usually means a lighter load, a swap to a sister ship with a coach in between, or a day rearranged.
