Rhine at Lobith still at low water this week
The Rhine at Lobith came up overnight, from 758 to 797 cubic meters a second, after 16 millimeters of rain fell in the Alpine headwaters two days ago. It is still at low water, and the chance of a Rhine cruise day going as planned this week is 1 percent, which in practice means lighter loading or a swap to a sister ship with a coach in between. November reads 31 percent as planned. The Danube at Budapest ticked up too, with October water levels there at 6 percent as planned.
