Danube at Budapest dropped again overnight
Rhine water levels at Lobith came up a touch overnight, and the chance of this week's Rhine sailings going as planned improved to 59 percent from 54. The Danube went the other way. Flow at Budapest fell to 1,405, low enough that the chance of a Danube day going as planned this week sits at 1 percent, which in practice tends to mean ships carrying less weight or passengers coached around a shallow stretch to a sister ship. October on the Danube reads 44 percent as planned.
